Our philosophy incorporates happiness and a joy for learning, taught and practiced through play. The children begin to gain their independence by being part of a caring community throughout their time at Little Smarties. Our experienced and committed staff provide high quality learning experiences through a broad balanced early years curriculum based on play and communication. Self-esteem and confidence are fostered and respect and tolerance developed through interaction and co-operation. The villa setting provides a homely environment for children’s first experience of school and is surrounded by a large grassy garden which is used on a daily basis.
Little Smarties is committed to ongoing professional development and regularly have in-house workshops and training courses. The Little Smarties Nursery and students were delighted to donate over 400 new books for children in local hospitals to encourage reading in support of the ‘Wanna Read’ initiative led by H.H. Sheikha Shamma bint Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan. Little Smarties nursery attended the World Environmental Day along with hundreds of students, community activists, social entrepreneurs, UN representatives, and media persons. Themed on Care with the slogan ‘7 billion dreams, one planet, consume with care’, the event featured various programs combining science, art, and information.
