Indian High School comes with a history of over 50 years, which will be difficult to encapsulate in a few words. Since its inception in 1961, the school has been the leading educational institution in the Gulf Region. Indian High School is run by a Board of Trustees and seeks to provide affordable and value education to all its students. The institution has been accredited ‘outstanding’ by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Government of Dubai. Indian High School is also permanently affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. As per CBSE guidelines and their syllabus, we continuously guide students and enhance their learning ability and performance.
We’ve come a long way since, 1977, when our first set of 10th Grade students appeared for the All India Secondary School Examination. Also, it was in the year 1979 that the first batch of 12th Grade students, from Science, Arts and Commerce appeared for the All India Senior School Certificate Examination, aligning with the with the CBSE standards. With a teacher-student ratio of 1:20 for Pre-Primary, Primary and the Middle Section and 1:15 for Secondary and Senior Secondary classes, personal attention is guaranteed for each student. This helps in building an excellent rapport between the educators and the ones being educated.
