Murdoch University’s biggest strength is that students can attain a double major degree with in the same time span as compared to any other Bachelor’s degree program. This is one of the reasons I chose to pursue my further studies in this university. I am a final year student studying Bachelors of Mass Communication with majors in Public Relations and Marketing. The study plan is designed very well so that students are able to meet and adapt upon the difficulty level at each semester. The lecturers and students are friendly and helpful. Murdoch has a multi-cultural environment which helps the students learn how to work cooperatively with such a group. Also, the management keeps sending internship and job opportunities to the students regularly which help building on the practical experience. They are approachable for any queries. Altogether, it is a great learning experience studying in Murdoch University.
(April, 2012)As a student of Murdoch Universities MBA program, i can safely tell you that my campus is not the biggest in Dubai. We’re located at Dubai International Academic City. Where most universities promote their student activities centres and other such facilities, I was courted using information about my Professors at the university. Infact, during the MBA tour which the university participated in, i was fortunate to meet and greet with the Vice Chancelor or the Uni. who was available at hand to answer and represent questions posted for the senior administration.
I work full time as a Marketing Manager in a drug store in sharjah, and the weekend classes definitely help with managing work and studies. usually i have classes just ONCE a week with both units being covered in the same day by very “cool” teachers. The faculty is young and energetic and are actually very technologically savvy!
Being a marketing man, trust me when i tell you that “word of mouth” is something you should believe, but i allways recommend that when choosing universities…campuses should be visited and people/students should be met.
University and school life are two important stages of one’s life. The friendly environment at Murdoch University Dubai, with both students and staff really made Uni life fun and worthwhile.
Although I had only 7 students in my class, (since we were the founder students at Murdoch) the ideas that came out of our brainstorming sessions were so different and unique that it felt like a class of 30.
The Faculty at Murdoch were experienced, friendly and so approachable and were ready to help whenever we required it. We simply emailed or caught them off guard and no matter how stupid the question was they would still find a way to answer it without making us look like fools.
Murdoch might not be a big University but the joy of being around and knowing students from all schools specifically Business and Media, was worth an experience. The ideas, talent and fun we all shared was big enough to make university life most memorable.
Last but not least, it all comes down to the quality of education that a university has to offer. And hence there is nothing more valuable than the joy of standing on a stage and being presented with a degree that comes all the way from Australian. My three years’ truly well spent.
(July, 2012)I have always had a love for computers and technology, following my passion I joined Murdoch University, Dubai’s undergrad IT program at the age of 17. Under the guidance of IT lecturer, Wayne Muller I have developed my skills and knowledge considerably and started computer game programming. Recently I was awarded the Vice Chancellors Commendation for Academic Excellence for achieving a position in the top 2% of students enrolled in Bachelor’s degree.
(July, 2012)Murdoch staff and faculty are amongst the friendliest people I have ever met. They interact with the students at ease. I chose Murdoch because I wanted to continue my studies in the UAE rather than move abroad. After exploring my options I found that, based on my preferred field of study, Murdoch has the best programs and facilities available in the UAE.

For me Murdoch University was the best option as it is a well reputed Australian university close to home in sandy and sunny Dubai. The staff and my instructors come from different places and share their fascinating experiences with us. I value every learning session!
(August, 2012)Studying at Murdoch has been a great experience as thanks to the flexibility in offerings I have been able to tailor my course according to my individual needs. The facilities here are amazing and Murdoch offers an excellent quality education. Friendly professors and administrative staff provide a great, hospitable environment for learning. In addition, being a part of such diverse community of students from all over the world has taught me so much about other cultures and how to interact with people from different backgrounds.
(August, 2012)I study media at Murdoch, learning all about the principles of the field and practising my hands-on skills at the studios. I really like the diversity of the students on campus; you can learn so much by interacting with people from different cultures. I grew up in Dubai and it is great to be able to study for an Australian degree without having to leave home.

(August, 2012)Murdoch Dubai offered me most suitable study plan to combine work and studying. Classes are held on weekly basis and the lecturers are approachable and easy to contact. Studying an MEd at Murdoch University, Dubai has updated my knowledge and skills in my particular profession and personally it has provided within me a confidence in my abilities to try new things and succeed.

Murdoch University Dubai might not be as big as some of the colleges in town, but frankly, in my opinion, it doesn’t need to be. If you’re planning on enrolling for an MBA, like myself, you’re sure to get the best education for your buck. I like 2 key points about MUD, one is their relentless focus on their MBA program which keeps evolving and broadening in scope and the second is how interactive their sessions are. They strike a fine balance between theory and practical education.
