Yes, Choueifat is a tough school, I know a few parents who have moved their children to other schools, not because others are better, but because studies can be quite challenging here. If you are looking for an easy school, this is not the place for your child; they do give a lot of homework, have many after school sessions and the teachers can be quite demanding at times. If however, you’d like to see your child excel and apply to Ivy League colleges abroad, Choueifat is definitely the place. My husband and I are both Choueifat alumni and have enrolled our daughter last year, knowing she’ll get the best Dubai can offer.
(December, 2010)As a parent I like this school, it is academically a very sound school and has a good system. All the core subjects are taught and have solid standard. French is taught at all levels. It is not very tough as generally people have a misconception. This is what a school should be! Good discipline and solid academics. The school gives and expects a lot from students. My son has gone to a very good university in the US. Thanks to Chouiefat. My 2 daughters are confident and are very good students.
(September, 2012)Choueifat School is one of those rare gems. Their Dubai campus is well equipped, spacious and located in a great place, just around the corner from Dubai Media City. We have had a great experience seeing our children blossom athletically and academically. They have a strong curriculum and an impressive Arabic base too.

But if your child cannot cope up with academics, this is definitely not the school for you and you as a mom will also be learning and studying with your growing genius kids. My friend’s son who can’t cope up with this school’s academics was transferred to another school and funny, he’s one of the consistent topnotchers of that school. That’s how Choueifat trained kids academically. But if you are not ready for a rigid academics, don’t even attempt to put your child in here.

Being a Choueifat graduate myself over two decades ago was quite pleased to find their Dubai campus when we moved to the UAE a few years back. We enrolled both our sons and are very satisfied with their quality of education. To be honest, it was a bit challenging for them to settle in at first, due Choueifat’s immensely tough admission criteria. We like seeing how much students are challenged at this school, both individually and as a team. In my belief, school isn’t meant to be ‘easy’. Students should be inspired, challenged and encouraged to overcome their comfort zone.
