All UOWD academic programs are accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Australian Universities Quality Agency reviews UOWD via their audit of UOW
What are the University’s greatest quality/ strength?
I graduated in 2008 and now I’m back getting another degree! This shows my confidence in UOWD’s academic endeavors and I hope that now with a Masters from them I could maybe even get a promotion at work. The education they offer is outstanding, very different to most of the other colleges in town and with a great support system for every single student. Teachers are amazing and students are very friendly with diverse backgrounds & cultures.
(December, 2010)Always at the forefront of higher education. Ian is right, they have come a long way from their humble beginnings on Jumeirah Road. I recently enrolled for their MBA after having compared all other programs within the UAE. They stood out for me because of their well-rounded curriculum, their educators, their flexible timings and reasonable tuition fees. For those studying their masters, it is a great place to network with other like-minded individuals and executives, definitely an added bonus.
(December, 2010)I’m a senior with graduating status here at UOWD and I can’t bear to part. I’m a bit fearful of the after graduation realworld, fearful it may not be as welcoming as my academic years here. Wollongong Dubai is an amazing institution with wonderful professors – the university can be as large or as small as you want it to be. They offer a large catalog of interesting classes, a beautiful campus and a really laid back, unpretentious atmosphere.
(March, 2011)Completed a bachelors and masters degree with the University of Wollongong in Dubai. You will experience a warm multicultural environment with great professors that prepare students for the corporate world.
(April, 2012)Definitely worth 5 stars for me. Made some life-long friends at UOWD, met and learnt from some of the best
Professors and graduated with honors. The staff are arguably the most selfless people I’ve ever met, i’d spend hours after classes with them, asking, studying, discovering. Highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to pursue Business, Marketing or Comms.
One of the best universities in Dubai. I would definitely recommend UOWD, they have great Professors (I did Marketing) that will develop you professionally. I miss the experience I had here.
(April, 2013)Great uni, made a lot of new friends and had a memorable experience! It has professors that push you to achieve all that you can.

I have had a mixed experience here. I went here my freshman year of college and didn’t settle in very well in my first year. I didn’t experience much diversity at all and being an avid athletic student, found their sports and extra curricular activities rather weak in the beginning. Now however, UOWD is a whole other university. I graduated with Bachelors in Business, got a decent job in a Multinational Company and then enrolled again in their highly recognized MBA program. They’ve come a long way from their humble beginnings and as a fellow Australian I’m proud to have spent my academic years here.
