Majan University College (MUC) is a subsidiary of Human Investment LLC, an Oman-based company, whose registered address is PO Box 710, Postal Code 112, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman. The College was the first private sector higher education institution in the country when it opened in 1995 under its previous name, the College of Administrative Sciences, and has continued to be at the forefront of higher education in the Sultanate ever since. MUC achieved institutional accreditation from the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA), maintaining its reputation as a trailblazer by being the first higher education institution in the country to do so. The College was also, in September 2024, the first HEI in Oman to achieve reaccreditation by the Oman Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education (OAAAQA).

MUC is located on a single campus in Darsait which is home to a multicultural academic community with more than a hundred staff from various countries and a student population of almost 2,500. MUC is an accredited college of the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MOHERI), Oman.

Majan University College offers undergraduate programmes in Business Administration with 8 pathways, Marketing, E-Business, Accounting, Finance, Islamic Banking, Business Analytics with Artificial Intelligence, Finance and Technology (FinTech), Computer and Internet Applications, Networking, Computing with 3 pathways, Data Science (Cybersecurity Pathway), Data Science (Digital Archives Pathway) and English Language programme. These are delivered in both full-time and part-time mode.

At postgraduate level, Majan offers master’s programmes in Business Administration, Computer Science, and Applied Linguistics from the University of Bedfordshire, and its own MUC MBA (taught in Arabic).
