BAU offers its academic staff members and students a persistently increasing amount of resources and facilities through its libraries, laboratories and administrative offices that are located throughout its 3 campuses. We aim to ensure that the university continues to be the academic home of choice for graduate students through providing the support our researchers and graduate students need in order to continue their research line. Graduate Studies & Research at Beirut Arab University. It has been my privilege to act as the first Dean of Graduate Studies & Research and to oversee the development of several unique and timely graduate programs. BAU is committed to offer high quality graduate programs that are delivered by a distinguished and engaged community of scholars. BAU has been committed, since its establishment in 1960, to offer outstanding educational programs and to provide an embracing environment for academic creativity and development of leadership skills, instilling the concept of social responsibility, while respecting diversity and multicultural understanding. The University promotes a stimulating academic atmosphere for its academic staff to ensure excellence in research and the dissemination of its outcomes to address community needs, both nationally and internationally. BAU relies on the contribution of the University’s expertise in the sustainable development of the local community while maintaining engagement with its alumni. BAU believes in its highly efficient leadership, well-structured governance system and greatly motivated academic staff.

BAU has made an outstanding progress throughout the years. BAU’s strategic goals for 2007-2012 of improving the student infrastructure, developing programs and curricula, enhancing the academic and administrative system, strengthening research and graduate programs, reinforcing partnerships and cooperation and improving services and facilities have been achieved.

BAU’s strategy for the years 2013-2020 develops the goals set forth in the strategy of 2007-2012. The next decade will witness various changes for the University with regards to the governance system, excellence in education, academic staff excellence, research excellence, academic and student services, university life, public engagement, alumni and friends network, international relations and financial resources.

Building on our well-esteemed educational background, our constantly expanding vision, our strife for achieving educational excellence, and our dedication to support research into current world issues, we pride ourselves in the unique experiences we offer our students at Beirut Arab University.

Our recent achievements have enabled us to attain an International Institutional Accreditation from FIBAA and international accreditations for most of our programs.These accreditations, alongside our constantly evolving university dynamics ensure the quality of the programs offered at Beirut Arab University and of the graduates received by the job market.
