The University of Technology and Applied Sciences-Salalah (UTAS-Salalah) stands as the premiere educational institution in the Dhofar Region which hosts a thriving student population of over 4,900 students as of the academic year of 2023-2024. It offers various specializations in the fields of Engineering and Technology, Economics and Business Administration, Computing and Information Sciences and Mass Communication (Creative Industries) at the Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Bachelor's degree levels. This branch has witnessed remarkable growth in terms of facility expansion and has more than 570 dedicated staff with diverse levels of expertise.

Situated in the heart of the Dhofar Province, Salalah, UTAS-Salalah serves as a symbol of knowledge, innovation, and academic excellence for our community. With this merging, the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) has taken a visionary step forward in creating a unified educational institution that is poised to make an even greater impact on education, research, and innovation in Salalah. This merger likewise represents a bold vision to combine our strengths, expertise, and resources with the aim of creating an environment where collaboration and excellence will succeed.
