Abu Dhabi, UAE: A four-week professional development training and orientation session will be held for 587 Grade 12 teachers in three subjects: Arabic, mathematics and English.
The training, which will be offered by the Abu Dhabi Education Council and United Arab Emirates University, is expected to raise foundation placement exam rates for public school students required to write the new Emirates Standardized Test, EmSAT.
“Our teachers play a pivotal role in ensuring future success and motivation for Grade 12 students through transferring an important element of student success,” said ADEC Director General Dr Ali Al Nuaimi. “This integration process between ADEC’s curriculum and the foundation programme will help bridge the gap between school and university for our Grade 12 students.”
