The school was founded in 1929 by the British, while Egypt was under British occupation, as the British Boys' School'. After the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, it was renamed the El Nasr Boys' School. It was built in the Shatby area of Alexandria, between Abo Quer and Aflaton streets. Across the street is the El Nasr Girls' College.

Our mission is to pave the way that transforms abilities into dreams, to facilitate the quest that leads from the reality of the present to the hope of the future, and to bridge any gap separates the wishes of tomorrow from the facts of today. In a Globe where perfectness is highly required, it has become a commitment to stimulate students to reach the fullest of their potentials. As those who will lead tomorrow are the learners of today, it has become a duty to grant them the way.
