Philippine School Doha is the leading basic learning institution in Qatar. Since its inception in 1992, The Philippine School Doha, being a non-stock non-profit community school under the auspices of the Philippine Embassy and by the order of Amiri Ordinance No. 7 of 1980, has been continually serving the growing population of Filipinos as far as Philippine basic education is concerned governed by the Board of Trustees being the highest policy-making body of the institution.

The transfer to the permanent location in Messaimeer is a new home of more than 4000 students. It is indeed a great accomplishment acquired and achieved by and through the diplomatic agreement between the Philippine Government and the government of the host country, Qatar. This is also a testament of pride and legacy of the Overseas Filipino Workers that despite the distance from our homeland, their children can still avail of the best quality education; following the K-12 curriculum standard prescribed and recognized by the Department of Education, Philippines with the new DepEd Recognition No. 002,s.2017 and is duly acknowledged and approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Qatar.

Philippine School Doha was established in October 3, 1992 to serve the educational needs of the children of the Filipino community in the State of Qatar. Its birth was the result of the determination of pioneering members of the Filipino community in Doha under the auspices of the Philippine Embassy. As required under the laws of the Philippines, the school has been incorporated as a non-stock, non-profit educational corporation and is duly registered as the Philippine School in Doha, Incorporated in the Securities and Exchange Commission. As such, the school is governed by the Corporation Code and special laws and regulations of the Philippines. A special set of regulations for the operation of the PSD as a private school is the Manual of Policies and Regulations, otherwise known as MOPAR.

Philippine School Doha envisions itself to produce critical thinkers, research- adept, and life-long learners who are God-loving, People-oriented, Environment-friendly, and Nation-builders under the philosophy of service and excellence.
