Children aged 3 to 19 are taught at our campuses across Doha in Themaid, Madinat Khalifa, and Gharaffa. The curricula offered at our campuses include the International Primary Curriculum, English National Curriculum, IGCSE, A-Levels and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
Compass International School Doha was awarded accreditation for the International Primary Curriculum in 2019 and was the first IPC accredited school in the Middle East. Compass International School Doha is the first school in Qatar with a French – English programme to receive the LabelFrancEducation accreditation for our French Bilingual Programme. This prestigious accreditation is granted by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. Children are taught English and French as stand-alone languages to develop knowledge and skills in both languages. Maths and the International Primary Curriculum, which covers all other subject areas linked together by a common theme, are taught in both languages.
Our newest campus in Themaid, near Education City, is the largest campus and opened in September 2019. The new state-of-the-art, purpose-built campus offers students an exceptional learning environment from its well-equipped science laboratories and theatre to the 25-metre swimming pool and specialist areas for design, technology and music. The campus is open to students from Early Years through to Year 13 offering the International Primary Curriculum, English National Curriculum, IGCSE and A-Levels along with the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (IBDP).
Close to West Bay, our Madinat Khalifa Campus offers Primary education from Year 1 to Year 6 and Secondary education for Year 7 to 11 and follows the English National Curriculum, International Primary Curriculum,
At Compass International School, we prepare your child for the future with a choice of pathways to the world’s best universities through our expert-guided A-Levels or the prestigious IB Diploma both opportunities are available at our Themaid Campus.
Our 2021 IBDP class achieved the highest score in our school’s history, putting them in the world’s top 15%. Of the 96% who graduated, nearly 20% scored 40 points or above (out of 45). This is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world’s elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford.
In 2019, two Compass students were awarded ‘Top in Qatar’ by Cambridge International Education for the highest mark in Qatar for the IGCSE subjects, Coodinated Science and Art and Design. This was the second year in a row that Compass students have achieved the highest mark in Coordinated Science in Qatar.
To the west of Doha lies our Gharaffa Campus, close to Doha’s Education City and Sidra Medicine. The Gharaffa Campus offers Early Years and Primary education from Early Years 1 to Year 6 and follows the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Our Gharaffa Campus also offers our Dutch Language and Culture programme for Dutch speaking students from Early Years 1 to Year 6.

Excellent school!! We have recently migrated from Singapore. My son being a bright student, we have had a high sort of expectation on high quality education standards from the school in Doha. My son is enrolled for Year 12 in Compass International Themaid Campus. The school infra is world-class and we're happy to see my son's progress in the school. Compass Thamed School in Qatar is an excellent school for educating children, from kindergarten to thirteenth grade. It has qualified teachers, and as a Sharia and Arabic language teacher, I wished to be a part of them! It is characterized by highly trained management, and there is continuous follow-up with parents via emails. The British curriculum is taught in it, with the addition of subjects decided by the State of Qatar for the study of its children, such as (Islamic education, the Arabic language, and Qatari history). Thameed School is located in the Bani Hajer area, north of the Al-Rayyan region. .
