Innocent Minds Garderie

Innocent Minds Garderie provides a well planned fun environment, where children can learn through play and explore their ideas and experiences in order to stimulate and develop their young minds and bodies and create the adults they are to become. Innocent Minds follows the Maria Montessori system of education as well as other teaching methods in both English and French. We offer high quality childcare for children aged 11 months to 4 years. Our academic year starts in September and ends in June. The months of July and August have a special summer program where children between the ages of 4 and 6 years are welcome to join. Our Exciting field trips create great learning experiences for our children.

We at Innocent Minds also support the toilet training process and help create a plan that is consistent, positive and manageable-at home and at school. Our aim at Innocent Minds is to broaden children's horizons and give them the highest standards in all aspects of their educational life. At Innocent Minds, each child is valued as a unique individual with his or her own personality.

Our staff consists of highly qualified, friendly and enthusiastic individuals with many years of experience to cater for your children. In order to maintain a high level of quality, childcare standards and performance are continuously monitored and all staff members have the opportunity to participate in professional development and training throughout the year. Regular team meetings and workshops help to further promote a feeling of team spirit and encourage staff members to feel proud of the important role they play in your child's development. Each class consists of two main teachers and one assistant teacher.

Moreover, the highly specialized Montessori Materials help us guide the children through experiences in Practical Life exercises, Sensorial activities, Mathematical and Numerical skills, Cultural subjects, as well as Creative skills (Art, Craft, Music, Drama, Gym and Cookery). We also implement our own curriculum that we have designed and tailored over the years to suit your children's educational needs and requirements. Student evaluations are based on both Montessori educational standards and the most current educational methods. Formal written evaluations that cover all aspects of education are completed and sent home twice a year.
