AHIS was founded in 1985 and is fully accredited by the Bahrain Ministry of Education and by two world-wide recognized accreditation organizations (MSA) & (NCA). AHIS is affiliated with highly recognized educational institutions that provide professional development and support for improvement and growth such as NESA, ASCD, UNESCO, PTC. Al Hekma provides its students with modern spacious buildings, vast playgrounds, sports facilities and highly equipped science, music, art and computer labs supporting the educational programs.

We focus on instilling the values of hospitality, global citizenship, and tolerance toward others. We strive to create an environment that nurtures high self-esteem, intrinsic motivation, low anxiety, and a sense of belonging.
