The German International School Doha belongs to the network of 140 German Schools Abroad (DAS), funded by the Federal Office of Administration on behalf of the Foreign Office and the Central Agency for Schools Abroad (ZfA). From Kuala Lumpur to Kiev, from Toronto to Tokyo German Schools Abroad value the individual support and multilingualism of their students as well as meeting of cultures. Funded by the Federal Republic of Germany and equipped with qualified teachers, the pupils of German schools receive a bilingual education abroad.
With its educational, academic quality and their bicultural profile German International School Doha one of the outstanding schools in the country. The school currently has about 300 pupils in school and Kindergarten. The class size at the school a maximum at 25 students, the average is usually a comfortable 16 students.
The school offers from grade 1 in addition to German also Arabic and English classes, French starts from grade 5. In kindergarten and pre-school all children whose mother tongue is not German, learn German playful. This offer will be supplemented in the grade 1 to 10 by additional German language lessons. From the school year 2016/17 the school starts with the Bilingual International Diploma program. This gives our students the opportunity to acquire a university entrance qualification by the end of grade 12. This opens the opportunities to study in Germany.

It's a great school with an international ambiance. I chose the school for my son because it offers 4 languages, German as main language of instruction. The building and outdoor fields and playgrounds are extremely spacious with lots of greenery The friendly atmosphere among the students and teachers is amazing.
