The International Academy of Kuwait has a strong tradition of teaching in English and providing high quality learning and teaching programes, using experienced and qualified teachers from around the world. We serve a multi-cultural and multi-national student body, with an emphasis on academic excellence based on the Curriculum of England and Cambridge framework leading to the IGCSE examinations. Our student population of over almost 2000 students comprises mainly local ex-patriate Arab families as well as Kuwaiti nationals.

All students engage in an inclusive aspirational curriculum based on the breadth and balance of the English national curriculum. This allows our young people to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful lifelong learners. Their educational journey begins in the early years’ foundation program progressing through primary school and secondary, to the external examinations at IGCSE and A level.
During this journey, students will not only experience the rigor and challenge of the curriculum, but will also have the chance to develop resilience, tolerance, leadership opportunities, sporting prowess and much more, making them rounded and ready to contribute to not only the school but also the wider community in Kuwait and beyond. All in preparation for post-secondary education and the university of choice.
