The City School, Ajman is expected to start enrollments for thenext academic year by Fall 2016.
Construction has commenced for a new school in Ajman, which promises to be the largest in the Emirate so far.
City School will operate under R Education & Academic Development (READ), the education arm of R Holding. READ ventured into the education sector in Ajman in 2012 with the inception of City University College of Ajman (CUCA). The company is now furthering its contribution to education by setting up a school, which will focus on academic excellence and overall personality building of younger students.
Imran Khan, CEO of READ said, “The overwhelming response from the Ajman community towards CUCA has reinforced the fact that there is a huge need for quality educational institutions in the Emirate. City School is one more effort from READ to cater to this need.”
The school will spread over a land area of 500,000 square feet with 200,000sqft of open space. The AED 110 million project will provide a variety of facilities, in a safe and comfortable environment. The campus will feature state-of-the-art classrooms and libraries with ample, age-appropriate reading resources. In addition, it will focus on providing practical training to the students in all areas of academic and extra-curricular activities. Students will have access to well-equipped science and computer laboratories.
Along with the outdoor sporting facilities featuring race tracks, basketball, tennis and badminton courts, the schools will also provide a playpen and rumpus room for the younger students. Well-equipped music and art rooms will be available for the use of the students. The school will also feature a well-resourced medical clinic with a pediatric nurse available at all times.
Construction is expected to complete by the end of this year.

Enrollments for the academic year 2017 will start by Fallof this year. The school promises academic excellence along with a wide array of extracurricular activities.
