At Edison we believe that high quality early learning experiences are vital, as they lay the foundations for a child’s lifetime love of learning. At Edison Nursery we nurture the minds of both boys and girls from 4 months to 4 years of age. Our teachers follow the Early Years Foundation Stage from The British Association for Early Childhood Education. This framework nurtures learning through structured play making learning a fun positive experience for your child.

All of our staff are carefully selected with recognised teaching or childcare qualifications. They are all highly experienced and committed to provide the best possible environment for your child’s overall development. Scheduled activities will be appropriate to each child’s age and ability, thereby developing imagination, creativity, coordination, manipulation and confidence in a unique manner.

Each of our classrooms have been specifically designed for different age groups to suit the needs of your child. The rooms are spacious and bright with a variety of age appropriate toys and educational material that facilitate providing a stimulating environment full of learning experiences, comfort and play suitable for each child’s developmental stage. Our Sunshine rooms which cater for the infants of our Edison Nursery family has its own distinct location on our wing, a peaceful tranquil area within which our infants will be nurtured and cared for under the supervision of a Paediatric Nurse. The ultimate loving environment in which to bud and grow.

Also we are extremely proud our uniquely large outdoor space, within this green area our children can experience being part of a thriving natural environment through exploration and physical development. With safety at the core of Edison Nursery we have ensured that the surroundings are child friendly and will be monitored at all times.
