Little Angels Montessori Preschool

A Montessori learning environment is like no other; our main objective at Little Angels Montessori Preschool since January 2007 is to provide a carefully planned, stimulating environment which will help children to develop within themselves the foundational habits, attitudes, skills and ideas essential for a lifetime of creative thinking and learning.

The Little Angels Montessori Preschool’s goals and targets are set high as to allow the successful introduction of post students to well-known schools such as The British School, The American International School, The Multinational School and many other international schools. This in turn, allows our post students to be more academically competitive within these recognized schools. In addition, the successful joint introduction of the English, French and Arabic languages at a young age within our students is in itself an achievement. Furthermore, allowing our students to reach a high standard of language proficiency in parallel to strong social skills are our main targets and goals at Little Angels Montessori Preschool.

At Little Angels, we keep a low student/ teacher ratio. The teacher in each classroom is fully Montessori trained and certified. In order for your child to derive the full benefit from each level of the Montessori curriculum, it is strongly recommend that you plan to have your child complete each cycle of learning that they undertake.

Little Angels Montessori Preschool is committed to facilitating the development of the “whole child” through nurturing, encouragement and guidance. We provide a “prepared environment”, adhering to the educational philosophy articulated by Dr. Maria Montessori, where the child succeeds at developing independence, self confidence and a “love of learning”.

The primary goal of a Montessori program is to help each child reach his/her full potential in all areas of life. Activities promote the development of social skills, emotional growth, physical co-ordination, cognitive preparation and language enrichment. The holistic curriculum, under the direction of a specially prepared teacher, allows the child to experience the joy of learning, and to enjoy the process. It provides the experiences from which children create their knowledge, and the skills to build their confidence to insure the development of self-esteem.

Little Angels Montessori Preschool offers two levels of Montessori Education beginning at 1 year of age with the “Toddler” program. The “Toddler” program offers our younger students (1-3 years) an opportunity to explore the Montessori preliminary activities in cognitive, motor, sensory, language, social, practical life, music, Arabic and French. Accompanied by gross motor activities, this program is designed to meet the specific needs of an active toddler.
