Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT)
The Master of Science in Information Technology (MSIT) program at Abu Dhabi University is offered by the College of Engineering. The program requires the completion of either 9 graduate level courses (27 credit hours) in addition to a master’s thesis (6 credit hours) or 9 graduate-level courses (27 credit hours) in addition to a capstone project (3 credit hours).
The program accepts students with Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields. Students who lack background in certain IT subdisciplines, as per their undergraduate transcript, may be admitted conditionally. Such students will need to take some undergraduate level courses determined by the Program Director upon admission to the program. These courses will be considered as remedial courses and will not be counted towards fulfilling the graduation requirement.
The mission of the MSIT program is aligned with ADU mission by providing prospective students, both fresh IT graduates as well as working professionals, with an excellent opportunity to obtain a master’s degree in Information Technology.
