I hope my internship experience that I am sharing will help a lot of students to get a gist of how it appeared to be. I was thrilled to land a place in Aramex and to begin with my journey this January. Of course, things didn't seem easy at first, but as true to its distinguished ways of training students at SP Jain, I always managed to face challenges with positivity, dedication, and perseverance. I seeked for more opportunities to gain experience and this led to a lot of learning and building my own self-esteem further. I prayed and hoped to get a job during this pandemic although the internship kept on extending. I continued with my challenges and couldn't lose hope. I knew my work would speak for me. And finally, after eight long months of internship, my manager informed me about my conversion to a fulltime role. I was patient throughout this process and had constant support from the CR Team that kept on boosting my confidence. Well, this is just the beginning! I would like to conclude that it is always vital to be ambitious and strive for goals to achieve success. This will not be attained without delivering your best, being patient, and good teamwork. I succeeded in converting my internship and am excited than ever to pursue a career in Aramex"

As a father of my son pursuing BBA (2018), I am at awe at the broadening of his horizons, and the impact it has had on him personally. He is more self-oriented and focused based on the structured course specifically designed in the Tri – city model. It lay a platform for an under grad student of self-learning and independency right from an early age. It helps you seek and guides you towards the direction of which you wish to major in. The tools are all well in place at each level of progression. The course does have a very concrete and focused curriculum focusing on the dynamics of understanding what is Management and the add-ons . Without any seed of doubt, the SP Jain faculty is world class and of very high standards. It provides a very ideal environment for Academic learning and the visiting faculty adds to the knowledge base from far & wide. In addition, given the different clubs available, which are run by the students themselves. It gives them a base to explore their inner self and talent to pursue various courses like public speaking, Dramatics, MUN, As I recall, the President Mr. Nitish Jain comment during one of his Orientation speeches, SP Jain is a platform given to you with enormous resources, it is up to the student himself to make full use and exploit them. I quote, “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.” “If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.” “The only person who is educated is the one who has learned how to learn, adapt and change.” And hence without doubt I can say, this is the best investment that has been made and the very reason for choosing this great Management Institution.

S P Jain has good record of placement for GMBA and other program MGB, and it's alumni are to be found all over the world in the companies like Apple, USA, Goldman Sach, MEC Singapore, Sony UAE, etc. And reportedly they had claimed 51 lacs as the highest salary offered for GMBA and 25 lacs for 5 students from MGB program. So it has really good record.

Many B-schools are really great but it depends what are looking for for your future, whether you want to go to abroad for study or just want to go for Indian B-school, study here and settle down. S P Jain School of Global Management will provide you the platform to go international with it's tri-city program - you are getting to learn the diverse culture of Dubai, Singapore and Sydney while learning. Also to understand the business etiquette that requires when you are in specific area of market - Gulf, Chinese or Western.

It is a great launching pad especially for younger MBA aspirants with good exposure of two different markets in Dubai and Singapore. Placements are mostly back in India though but the experience in SP Jain is worth it.

SP Jain gave me a platform to experience 2 cities which are hubs for Supply Chain in the world. It was a well structured and rigorous course to be completed in 1 year. Course was very dynamic and kept us on our toes. The sessions were extremely real world centric.

I came across S P Jain School of global management many times on various forums and the reason that I decided to go for this course was that they were giving me a GMBA degree within 6 weeks. Apart from the learning through professors, peers, projects etc, the exposure through S P Jain’s GMBA gave me an opportunity to interact with Corporate Heads of different companies as the Placement Committee Executive for my batch. The experience helped me considerably when I joined Landmark and had to do business presentations to Senior Management on new initiatives. Before I began my GMBA at S P Jain, I was a software developer at TechMahindra, Pune. These past four years have been a roller-coaster ride for me with lots of ups and downs. However, being able to live in two metropolitan cities (Singapore and Sydney) have really helped me open up to different cultures and societies. Singapore and Sydney have very different lifestyles and that helps us learn to adapt to different environments. Moreover, the courses taught at S P Jain have been interesting, yet fun – there’s a lot of interaction amongst students and we learn so much from our classmates of different cultures. Do it for the Experience! Many (prospective) students may have this certain bit of apprehension before joining this course, as to should I take up the offer, is it worth the price, will the actually be able to cover up the entire MBA portion in a year (lol!). I was no stranger to these and I took the plunge. Let me tell you why I won’t regret it for the rest of my life. Believe me when I tell you that this course has a lot to offer. What eventually matters is how YOU make the most of it. The whole idea of a master’s program is to make you self-sufficient and self-reliant. Which means – DO NOT EXPECT SPOON FEEDING (this is the difference between your grad school and a B school). In terms of the study material, it’s up to the mark and you will feel burdened. Burdened by the SBR’s (these 3 letters will haunt your life), CRP/ALPs (the next 3 to haunt), submissions, deliverables, etc. This course is not about studies. Yes, you heard me correctly. Not about studies. It is about the experience and the exposure. You will sail through academics if you are street smart. You ought to become by the time the course ends. The key here is to gain as much of the 3 cities as you possibly can. More learnings will happen outside the classrooms, than inside. I would urge those taking up the course to venture out into each of these 3 cities and absorb them. Play a local sport, mingle with a local team, visit the not to prominent places, stay with the locals, see their lives the way they see it and even show them yours. That’s where the learning lies. Your networking or mingling may not give you a job, but it will surely equip you with something that you job would never give you. Another major factor would be your peers and group of friends. In simple words, crazier the better. You may simply need that one brainwave or adrenaline rush to do something (legally) impulsive. Make sure you have a gang around you to partner in the fun. Consider this as your last shot at college life. Only now think of it as living that coveted life in 3 different places. It is not many who fancy their chances living this kind of life. You may be one of the lucky few. If you want to see the wiring of an East Asian brain, meet/work/interact with a Singaporean. You will be amazed at the way they see and perceive things as compared to other nationalities. Want to have a dash of aggression, go play a sport in Australia. Chances are, you may end up getting paid, along with imbibing the abrasive attitude. Intend on capturing some ostentations, look no further than the mall entrances in Dubai. The joy an Arab gets in having people pose by and click pictures of/with his gold plated car is something only he can explain. If you want my advice then here is it. Do this course to experience a new life. Experiences outside your comfort zone. Travel and explore as much as you can. It will change the way you think and look at things. Try out stuff you haven’t. Cut down on sleep. Learn a new hobby or sport or an instrument. And yeah, study a bit. They do not allow you to relive the same experiences over and over again under the pretext of repeating terms. Ensure when you reflect back, you have something more in you, than when you acceptance the offer letter. Today you stand at the cusp of a new life. Let’s call it the leap of faith. SP Jain has been a truly global experience and I am proud to have partaken in such an experimental and novel concept for management courses. If you look at top universities in USA, Europe, etc., almost all are at least considering the idea of a one-year program instead of two, as well as slowly realizing that the world is growing more and more connected and that living in other regions is a huge part of learning about the world. Placements and rolling interview weeks can be a nightmare and a drench for any student about to graduate looking for the perfect career. No one else can make the task easy for you, you need to go ahead with it yourself, hunt out for openings, face the panel alone and give interview after interview till you land the job. Every student to join a graduate or post graduate course is faced with this dilemma on how to go about with it after the course. I was once in the same phase as well. And every student wishes they had a guiding hand to take them through this trial. The university they choose to study in, to be the guiding hand. Many universities promise placements after the course. But are they really any good or fruitful is what ponders the mind of many students. Today as a final term Masters student at S P Jain, I can proudly say that S P Jain has been a great guiding hand. They have fruitfully kept their word on supporting the student’s journey through the rolling interview weeks. With job descriptions rolled out to the students every other day from MNCs of three different countries, well it’s no easy task to handle but the corporate relations team of the campuses do a fantastic job at this and make sure to be personally available to every student’s doubts, queries and fears. They do the hunting for the students, they do the grooming and mock interviews and they open up immense portals of opportunities. Giving out the best as what interests each student is their motto and promise.

Five Ways My Life has Changed after S P Jain After having spent almost two years (in Singapore & Dubai) of my life at S P Jain School of Global Management, living the life of a Jaguar has changed me dramatically. Here is a list of the five biggest changes I have experienced halfway through my tri-city BBA course. Public Speaking Skills – I was a public speaker at high school. However, I used to participate in most events forcefully. This changed dramatically. After taking a course on Business Oral Communications, I started grabbing the smallest of opportunities to speak about any topic. Slowly, public speaking turned into a hobby. With each event, I have been able to enhance both my knowledge and experience. To be a successful leader in any organization, it is crucial for one to know how to communicate his thoughts fluently. This is what S P Jain has instilled in me. Confidence – There would be nothing better than a personal story to describe this very important point. Prior to my long story, I would like to state there is no course in S P Jain for Personality Development (:p). Here comes my wonderful story! While at high school I was known as someone who was quiet yet talented i.e. someone who underestimated himself and did not have confidence about how good he was. This was the sole reason why I was considered incapable of being the leader (Head-boy) of the school. Subsequent to the completion of my first year in Singapore, I came back to Dubai and visited my high-school. This is where things changed and my ego sky-rocketed to levels unknown to mankind (however that was only for a matter of five minutes). I met my mentor who was also my economics professor. I had a short five minute conversation with him. Here are the exact words he uttered when I was about to leave his office, “You’ve changed Govind. You’ve become as confident as you should have been and I am glad to see that change.” This is what S P Jain has done for me. Independence – Moving to Singapore for my first year of the BBA course was definitely a big step. I had never been away from my house or my parents for more than a week and this was my first long journey away. Being independent involves several aspects from self-discipline to time, task and money management. Without family around me, I developed a sense of responsibility for everything I did. This is what S P Jain has helped inculcate in me. Work-life balance – The importance of a balancing act in “life” is highly underrated. In 17 years of schooling my life was only dominated by “work” i.e. studies, assignments, homework & exams. After joining S P Jain I realised how that is not the way any person needs to live life. Yes, I agree work is crucial and should be given a considerable degree of importance but over the past two years I have learned that only focussing on work hinders one’s path to all round development. Activities such as socialization, maintaining relationships, keeping time out for things you love doing and sports or training is mandatory to grow as an individual apart from your work-related goals. This is what S P Jain has helped me realise. Application of learning – If one belongs to a high school that teaches subjects on basis of the Indian curriculum, he/she will know how rot learning is encouraged as a method to achieve maximum marks. I was one of the students most influenced by this ideology. It was because I knew this was the only way I could get the marks I needed to keep myself happy. However with S P Jain’s Business Education 2.0 the primary focus is on real life experiences, logic, application and pragmatic learning. It is about understanding concepts in the classroom and then applying them through several projects and assignments. Some of these projects even involve direct contact with several companies in the different regions of the BBA programme for research and learning. This is how S P Jain is preparing me for my future. In conclusion, the credit for my positive transformations can be attributed to S P Jain’s world-class faculty, my friends and family. Being half way through my course I am proud to see immense changes in my lifestyle and personality.
