The magnificent building of the main campus Pakistan School Muscat (PSM) stands on a prime location overlooking the Ruwi Valley and the Central Business District. His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said generously donated this piece of land for the school. The Sultanate of Oman under the benign and the visionary leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said has always helped the school and provided it with every opportunity to progress and prosper.

Pakistan school Muscat was established in a rented flat in Muscat in 1975, as a result of a decision made in the first meeting of Pakistani Cultural Centre. Efforts, spearheaded by Mr. & Mrs. S. M. Shafi, were made to collect funds and as a result of the tireless endeavors, the school was shifted to its present spacious campus in February 1981. The first batch of students appeared for SSC and HSSC examination in 1983 and 1985 respectively. The year 1986 saw the construction of a mosque on the school campus and also witnessed the establishment of science laboratories. The school library was inaugurated in 1993 and the Junior Block was added to the school building in 2004 with an extension of 16 more rooms in 2011. PSM is affiliated with FBISE Islamabad, Edexcel International, London and Cambridge International Examination (CIE).

Pakistan School Muscat has evolved its repute as an international institute by providing quality education to more than 20 expatriate communities residing in the Sultanate. With its six branches at Musannah, Nizwa, Salalah, Seeb, Sohar and Buraimi, Pakistan School Muscat is striving hard for excellence in all fields of knowledge and learning, by providing the best possible facilities to teachers and they teach through the optimum utilization of the available resources.
