Who needs the ACCA Qualification/Certification, ACCA ELIGIBILITY?

Anyone can pursue ACCA Qualification/Certification. But your educational background will play a vital role for exemptions of exam papers. ACCA qualification makes it ideal for professionals already active in accounting and those who are keen on a career change.

• Either +2 or FIA (Diploma)
• If +2: start with F1, F2, F3 …..etc
• If no qualification: FIA Route: F1, F2, F3 as FIA Student and then get enrolled to F4 as ACCA Student.

ACCA Certificate:

• Certificate of Achievement
• Students are awarded a Certificate of Achievement if they achieve a pass mark of 85% or above for individual passes in Papers F1, F2 and
• Fundamentals Level Certificate
  Students are awarded a Fundamentals Level Certificate when they have completed all of the exams in the Fundamental level of the ACCA Qualification (Papers F1–F9).
• Professional Level Certificate
  Students are awarded a Professional Level Certificate when they have completed all of the exams in the Professional level of the ACCA Qualification (SBL – SBR and any two of the Options papers from P4, P5, P6, and P7).

ACCA and Oxford Brookes University have worked together to develop a B.Sc in Applied Accounting, which is available exclusively to ACCA students who wish to obtain a Bachelor’s degree while studying towards the ACCA Qualification

ACCA Course Duration:

You could therefore complete all of the exams in two years. However, as you also need three years practical experience before you can become an ACCA member and be considered a qualified accountant, the qualification takes a minimum of three years to complete. When you take the test in the testing window following your course and if you do not pass, you can retake the course tuition free – new materials might be required at your expense – if you meet the criteria below. Criteria for Retaking the Course Tuition Free:

1. Attendance: You MUST attend 80% of all your classes.
2. Pre Class Test: You must complete all pre class tests and obtain minimum 70% mark in all tests.
3. Testing: You must take the 2 Mock during the Revision Course and achieve a minimum score of 70% on the Test
4. Final Model Exam Test Score: Must get an 70% or higher on the final model exam.
