Master of Applied Finance

This program is for experienced professionals, whether currently in the finance industry or in other professions seeking to transition to the finance sector (such as engineers, lawyers, or IT specialists). Alternative pathways into the Master of Applied Finance recognises your prior qualifications and professional work experience. Macquarie's recognition of prior learning (RPL) both for formal prior studies and gained through work experience, training programs, industry accredited qualifications and so forth, can mean a reduction in the number of core units of study of up to four gateway units.

Units are what we call subjects. This course offers an unparralled range of electives around a rigorous core curriculum, providing you with an individualised learning experience targeting your career plans.
Part-time students will study one unit per term. There are 4, 12 week terms per calendar year.
All units in the Master of applied finance are delivered in face-to-face, work friendly block mode in CBD locations. ne block is 2 evenings or 1 weekend.
Most postgraduate courses require a successfully completed Australian bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised institution and may also require a specific grade point average (GPA). Our admissions team will determine whether your qualification meets the requirements.
All applicants for postgraduate coursework studies at Macquarie University are required to provide evidence of proficiency in English.
