Master of Intelligence with the degree of Master of Criminology
Good intelligence and intelligence analysis has never been more important than it is now. It can alleviate security concerns and can even save lives. Specialists in intelligence studies are, therefore, in demand by the Australian Government and private sector market, including in corporate intelligence.
Our intelligence and criminology double degree course is practice-oriented and will prepare you with the ability to analyse and design strategies and policies to address domestic, regional and international intelligence challenges. It will also enable you to understand who commits crimes, their motivations for doing so, how society responds to such crime, and how the impact of crime can be alleviated.
Part of what makes Macquarie future focused is that we allow you the freedom to explore your interests across a range of areas, rather than lock you in to a single, narrow field. So follow your passions and tailor your course to your needs and interests.
Units are what we call subjects. Most full-time students take four units – each worth a fixed number of credit points – per session.
Most postgraduate courses require a successfully completed Australian bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised institution and may also require a specific grade point average (GPA). Our admissions team will determine whether your qualification meets the requirements.
