The Extended Diploma in Business is a High School equivalent vocational qualification, ideal for students aged 16 years plus who want an alternative learning environment to High School. Students will gain understanding of how a business operates and what makes it successful. This is achieved through studying a variety of subjects such as accounting, business law, economic environment, finance, marketing, organisational behaviour and human resource management.
Students will be introduced to principles of business using case studies and project work based on real world business scenarios. Emirates Aviation University (EAU) incorporates industry visits and field trips into the learning process, wherever possible, to provide a holistic vocational context. Overall the emphasis is on practical knowledge and personalised learning.
Graduates of the Extended Diploma in Business are equipped with the foundation knowledge and skills to be prepared for employment or to pursue further study in business.
