A highly efficient system and a creative generation proud of its national identity, able to challenge locally and globally

An educational school that seeks building a creative global personality proud of its national identity committed to values, seeking distinction and leadership supervised by a distinguished functional staff and an effective social
partnership.

Al Marfa School was inaugurated in September 2010 in a new purpose built building, designed to meet the needs of the new school model. It is a co-ed school, with boys and girls in two separate sections.

The girls were previously at Al Marfa School for Girls and the boys at Oqba bin Nafea School for Boys. When the school was first combined it had a roll of 824 students.

The new school model was applied in Grades 1 to 3 in 2010-11. In 2011-12 it was extended to include Grade 4; at the same time the iClass project was also launched. In 2012-13 Grade 5 also joined the new school model.
In 2012-13 the new school model approaches are being released throughout the school, with Arabic Medium (AMTs) and English Medium (EMTs) teachers working more closely together.

The school provides many innovative learning experiences and activities for the students, including a focus on the use of ICT. Our goal is to provide quality teaching and learning programmes and to achieve continuous progress in student learning. We are especially fortunate to have strong support from the parents of our students, as it is vital that we share the common vision of developing all students' learning potential.

The Learning Resources Center is the lightening minaret of Al Marfa School. Beside the traditional role as a place for reading, it has been well equipped and provided with the latest ICT equipments eg, two smart boards, touch screen laptops, touch screen table, 3D glasses, Video Conference equipments, ... etc.
