The IELTS Refreshment Course is a three (3) days course which provides a comprehensive look at the IELTS exam and allows students to practice the tasks usually tested in the IELTS exams.
This training is designed to help you improve your performance in the IELTS test, as well as your understanding and production of the English language overall. You will improve your understanding of written and spoken English, improve your pronunciation and gain confidence in speaking, listening, reading and writing and you will also develop a greater awareness of the skills needed to get the band you need.
The high standard required by this internationally recognized qualification means that exam is demanding but your achievement in gaining a good score will be widely and highly respected. Our preparation courses help you achieve the best score possible.
Who Should Attend?
This course is suitable for those who are 18 years or over, have a level in English equivalent to CEFR B1/IELTS 4.5 or above on entry, and who require this international qualification to verify their language skills for entry to university/college of further education or for a future employer.
Training Objectives
Apply and gain a comprehensive knowledge and skills about IELTS exam. Prepare candidates to take the IELTS by discussing, practicing, and analyzing each section of the test; Improve candidates’ IELTS test-taking skills and strategies in each section of the test. Practice some IELTS tasks so that the candidate is comfortable with the IELTS exam questions. Learn the scoring procedures for the exam so that you can interpret your own test scores. Improve the quality and quantity of writing you produce under time pressure Learn the IELTS “tricks” and “traps” so that the candidate can attain a higher band in the official test.

Pre-Requisite
There are no formal English requirements for entry into the Intensive IELTS course. However, it is advisable to learn some Basic English expressions in order to make the transition to classes easier. Hence, you will need to be able to show that you have done 3 – 6 years of high school in your home country.
Each delegate will be asked to complete a Pre-Course Assessment Form to determine their current level and objectives for attending the course. The content of such form will be used by the trainer only to give tailored training that is focused on each group of delegates.
