SZABIST offers a four year (eight semesters) BS (Computer Science) degree with majors in Information Technology. BS CS degree completion requires 40 courses (six courses per semester) with a total of 130 credit hours and a 6-8 week internship. The maximum time limit to complete the BS degree is seven years.

Computer Science is a systematic study of the concepts, foundations and applications of software, hardware, and intelligent systems. Typical subjects include: programming languages, data structure, algorithms, computer organization, operating systems and machine learning. The department of Computer Science at SZABIST aims to educate students with an understanding of real-world computing needs, as demonstrated by their ability to address technical issues involving computing problems encountered in industry and government.
