BS Computer Science

SZABIST offers a four year (eight semesters) BS (Computer Science) degree with majors in Information Technology. BS CS degree completion requires 40 courses (six courses per semester) with a total of 130 credit hours and a 6-8 week internship. The maximum time limit to complete the BS degree is seven years.

The Department of Computer Science offers comprehensive programs designed to prepare students for careers across all sectors of the information technology industry. Computer Science is a systematic study of the concepts, foundations and applications of software, hardware, and intelligent systems. Typical subjects include: programming languages, data structure, algorithms, computer organization, operating systems and machine learning. The department of Computer Science at SZABIST aims to educate students with an understanding of real-world computing needs, as demonstrated by their ability to address technical issues involving computing problems encountered in industry and government.
