Practical Training in schools

One of the main and strategic objectives of the College of Islamic and Arabic Studies in Dubai. Prepare students and make them be adapted to taking over a successful key post by providing training opportunities in the professional circuit.

About the practical training program

A program that provides an opportunity for college students, in the fourth year of the second semester, of training in state schools in various educational zones, and according to their residence, to apply what they studied from the specialized, educational and psychological courses under the technical supervision of cooperating schools and colleges, through a plan prepared by the College beginning from preparation and observation, then training under the supervision of a teacher, and finally bearing the full responsibility in teaching, and then the students are subjected to the process of assessment by mentors and school principals, and the teachers in the training schools.

Objectives of the program

• To provide an opportunity for students to practice educational skills and techniques of their specialization (the Arabic language, Islamic studies), such as lesson planning, goal setting, and the skill of assessing students.
• To be familiar with the work of the teacher in the classroom and outside.
• To help students acquire the ability to apply teaching methods (for all branches of Arabic language, and Islamic studies), and the appropriate means to do so.
• To identify the contents of the curriculum of both Arabic and Islamic studies curriculum.
• To enable students to acquire various skills to manage a successful and disciplined class.
• To know the school environment, its facilities, and equipments which serve the educational process.
• Training period (6 weeks) starting from the beginning of the second semester.
