Bachelor of Education in Art Education

The Art Education Program is designed to prepare art teachers for grades K-9, Cycle 1 and Cycle 2 according to the classifications of Abu Dhabi Department of Education & Knowledge (ADEK) and the Ministry of Education. This program is offered in collaboration with the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The major theme of the program is to prepare highly qualified Art teachers as professional practitioners.

Program Objectives

• Actively seek opportunities for professional growth in art education and who become classroom researchers.
• Have the necessary academic background in art education, professional education knowledge, skills and dispositions to respond effectively to students’ differences in education settings.
• Apply effective communication techniques to foster active inquiry, creative and innovative thinking, collaboration, and supportive interaction inside and outside the classroom.
