InDesign CC is a desktop publishing software application produced by Adobe Systems. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books and ebooks. InDesign can also publish content suitable for tablet devices in conjunction with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. Graphic designers and production artists are the principal users, creating and laying out periodical publications, posters, and print media.

Creating a new document, view the page, The Pasteboard, Rulers and Guides, Preferences, Text (eg Entering and editing text; cutting, copying and pasting text; importing and exporting text), Text (eg Formatting: Character attributes and Styles, The Toolbox (eg fly-out tools ex¬plained briefly), Creating Items: (eg bezier boxes), Manipulating Items (eg Cut, copy and paste; grouping and ungrouping, rotating and skewing items), Merging and Splitting Items, Colour (Applying, creating, editing, removing), Framing, Converting Boxes, Working with Lines, Creating text paths, Master pages, Using the page menu, Pictures and Runarounds and Picture library.
