Course Outcome

The course will cover most of the topics below: Finding your way around the Illustrator screen (eg Menus, Tools, Palettes, Artboard…), Basic vector drawing, Using templates, existing drawings and importing, Select, Copy, Paste, Group, Duplicate, Delete; Layers; Navigating the view area; Using the Status Bar; Drawing and manipulating drawn objects (incl. tracing…); Clipping masks; Reshaping and distorting objects; Colour, Strokes and Fills; Working with Bitmap images; Editing and formatting text (eg tabs and indents, columns and rows)Transforming text; Introduction to web graphics.
