If you love flowers, Manhal will take you on an exciting journey through the world of Japanese flower arrangement! Develop your flower arranging skills through Ikebana, which is not just a way of flower arrangement but is truly a piece of beautiful art by itself.
In this private 6-hour course (3-sessions x 2 hours each), you will learn the principles of Ikebana including minimalism, shape and line, form, humanity, aesthetics, and balance and how long to cut your flowers and branches and how to deal with the placement and depth. The most important thing isn’t a specific flower, it’s how to put all the pieces together to create one expressive, meaningful piece that plays with the idea of space.
The instructor, Manhal is a professional Visual Artist specialized in printmaking, flower arrangements, and sculpturing. Throughout her career, she earned a wide variety of juried and academic awards and is inspired by mixing different art forms to create new and unique styles.
