Give a personal touch to your dresses or home décor with hand embroidery. Hand embroidery is like drawing with a needle and thread, an awesome technique to glam-up your plain-looking jacket, old pillow case or any textile item.
This private class (3 sessions x 1.5 hours) is perfect for beginners. Classes can be held as 1-on-1 or in small groups depending on students and teacher's availability.
With the fabric and hoop as your “canvas”, you will learn different embroidery stitches that you will later use for your design.
A basic kit will be provided for you, and a professional embroiderer will guide you through the stitching techniques. Once you’re comfortable in your practice stitches, you will work on a simple design that you can transfer on any fabric.
Embroidery starter kit (contains embroidery hoop, thread and needle) will be provided.
Each session takes 1.5 hours.
