Do you love diving? Are you born for the water than dry land? Then feed your adventure side and get the adrenaline rush of a lifetime with this diving class where you can get to explore the seabed, get near coral reefs and even sunken ships.
This 10 hours (5 sessions x 2 hours) private advanced scuba diving training will make you experience the unrestricted water near one of Dubai's popular beaches. Instructors will guide you on 5 amazing 'adventure' dives. This includes two mandatory dives, the 'Deep Dive' and the 'Underwater Navigation Dive'. You can then choose three additional dives from the following list:
- Peak Performance Buoyancy - learn to glide effortlessly, use less air and ascend, descend or hover almost as if by thought
- Underwater Naturalist - exploring coral reefs and learning about the marine
- Wreck Dive - exploring the wreckage of ships or aircraft that sunk to the bottom
- Night Dive - using the diving light’s beam, controlling your buoyancy by feel, staying with your buddy and paying attention to details you may overlook during the day
- Search & Recovery - search for objects underwater and learn methods to recover them
- Multi-level & Computer Dive - learn the theory and application of nitrogen absorption and release and what computers are telling divers and why
You will be taught by a team of experienced PADI Master instructors. This ensures that you will progress at your own pace, with lots of attention and in a relaxed environment as you build the confidence and competence necessary to be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.
You will dive to a depth of 30 meters/99 feet and learn how to read your dive equipment in deeper water, how to swim with current at 30 meters, breathing without the oxygen mask, buoyancy control, underwater emergency and safety measures. Participants must have completed PADI Open Water Scuba Diving (18 Meters) before attending this training.
The open water scuba diving class includes:
- eLearning resources that will teach you the theoretical and technical aspects of diving
- A review of the scuba gear handling and maintenance (mask, fins, tank, BCD with a low-pressure inflator, regulator, and submersible pressure gauge)
- Open water training – 5 Adventure dives conducted off one of the dive boats, exploring the amazing coral reefs and marine life around Dibba Wreck
- A 1-on-1 training with PADI-certified instructors (max. 2 students per instructor)
- Underwater photographs of you
- Receiving an Open Water PADI Scuba Diving license
Additional Info
- Participants must have completed PADI Open Water Scuba Diving (18 Meters)
- Participants of all ages must sign a medical liability form to prove they are medically fit for diving
- A one-time fee of AED 365 to be paid at the institute for the manual book and e-learning DVD
- Participants are required to study the e-learning materials provided before attending the class
- Participants will receive a UK-qualified ‘Advanced PADI Open Water Diver’ license (2-3 weeks grace time to receive the certificate after course completion)
- 10-14-year-olds get 'Junior Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver' certificate from the institute
- The training might be rescheduled if weather conditions are bad
- Multilingual instructors are available (Arabic, English, and Filipino)
