Confined Space Entry; Confined Space Entry Training. Course Objectives: The aim of the training is to provide candidates with the necessary knowledge on the hazards of working in a confined space, safe use of tools and equipments, control of hazards and emergency procedures.

The objectives of the course are designed around the safety needs of workers working in permit-required confined spaces. Students will be taught to understand:

• The need for emergency services and when to implement them
• OSHA requirements for developing permit-required confined spaces for the safety of workers.
• The basics of equipment required to work in confined spaces
• How to determine that a space is 'confining'.
• The responsibilities of entrants and supervisors.
• The scope of OSHA's safety standards regarding confined spaces.
