Inquiry

This 5-day course is aimed at petroleum, production and operation engineers who wish to gain an insight into some of the more advanced aspects of completion design. It will be run on a workshop style basis where the attendees will have the opportunity to select from the subjects listed below.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, the delegates will be able to:

  • Gain an insight into some of the more advanced aspects of completion design
  • Gain an insight into more advanced aspects well performance
  • Learn techniques of artificial lift selection, gas lift
  • Deal on formation damage and matrix acidising treatments
  • Apply equipment selection techniques

Who Should Attend?

This course is intended for all Engineers (both Operating and Service Company personnel) who are already familiar with the basic completion processes, but have a need to extend their area of understanding to cover more advanced aspects; but who cannot justify attending a number of separate courses which are often targeted at teaching specific software. It would thus also suit Production Staff, Engineers from disciplines other than Production Technology etc.
