Level 5 Diploma in THM

The OTHM Level 5 Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management is designed to provide learners with a challenging qualification that supports their development as managers within the tourism and hospitality industry, with a lifelong-learning orientation. This will: enable learners to critically apply contemporary knowledge and theories to the management of complex problems in the tourism and hospitality industry; instil learners with specialist skills and technical terminology required to develop the management skills in the tourism and hospitality industry; enable learners to make decisions about the management of work areas in the tourism and hospitality industry that are informed by best practice and contemporary  research;  and give  learners  the  opportunity  to  progress  to  further  study  or employment.

Eligibility / Requirements

Candidates must hold/meet one or more of the criteria on the list below:

• This course is designed for learners aged 19 and above.
• A certificate/ diploma in  management studies or business management
• An equivalent professional qualification from a recognised institution.
• Mature students with a minimum of two years relevant work experience may be considered.
• The provider will determine English Language ability if English is not your native language.
• IELTS or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
