The Diploma: Electrical Engineering enables the identification and understanding of the skills and competencies relevant to Electrical Installation. This includes different motors, DC Machinery and the application of the SABS Code of Practice for electrical installations within, for example, the domestic market. Skills and competencies are underpinned by a solid foundation in physical science and electrical calculations to ensure effective operations within the field.
Grade 12 (Standard 10) or equivalent, or the Certificate: Electrical Engineering with INTEC, or relevant working experience (3 years) preferably in a technical environment.
