Structural Engineering is a branch of civil engineering that deals with the study of structural systems. They also conduct research on the structural components and systems for optimum and effective cost and life time. This course is intended to bridge the gap between the technical concepts and the practical experience already gained. The course will also cover a range of structural concepts and design methods relevant to different structural components, allowing students to broaden their theoretical and practical knowledge. Theoretical calculations and Computer aided calculations can be performed too.
