Programme Goal
The Diploma of Information Technology - Multimedia develops the skills needed for the multimedia and online industries. Students learn to design, develop, utilize and manage multimedia content, including video, photography, animation, web design, 2D and 3D animation.
Graduates
Graduates will be able to design and create a broad range of multimedia products. They will have the technical and legal knowledge needed to de!ne and manage multimedia projects and the ability to understand business and commercial requirements. Their technical skills will include the ability to design, produce and manipulate digital images, navigation design, and the design and construction of websites.
Work Placement
All students will complete a work placement in a business environment, during which they will apply and extend the skills they learned in the classroom.
Key Areas of Study
Employment
Graduates will be able to work as multimedia designers, specialists or developers. They may also work as interactive media developers, as animators, photographers or video developers.
