Introduction to Negotiation (2 days)

Intended for purchasing personnel who are new to the function or those with limited experience of negotiation. It is also suitable for other company personnel who have responsibility for buying and negotiation but are not part of the purchasing function.

Advanced Negotiation (3-Days)

Intended for personnel who have some experience in negotiation and wish to develop their skills using video role-playing and analysis. The course is also suitable for sales people and personnel who are not part of the purchasing function but are involved in negotiating terms and conditions for the procurement of materials  products and services. This course is an ideal follow-up for those who have attended our Introduction to Negotiation Skills course.

What will I learn?

The course clearly defines negotiation and how to obtain better deals when purchasing materials equipment and services. Attendees are taught in detail how to prepare for a negotiation and are provided with basic techniques to achieve their identified objectives and targets. With detailed input from the course presenter desktop and syndicate exercises plus a practice team negotiation attendees will leave with the confidence to conduct negotiations by telephone or on a face to face basis. The advance course is to develop delegate’s negotiating abilities by exposing them to realistic negotiation situations through role-playing exercises. Delegates will leave thecourse with improved skills greater confidence and a much fuller awareness of how to get the other party to respond positively.
