Welcome to the University of Seville website, a gateway that offers users access to all University resources and services in an easy and integrated way. The University of Seville is an institution that provides the public service of superior education by means of studies, teaching, and research, as well as the generation, development and diffusion of knowledge to serve citizens and society.

Closely linked to the history of Seville and Andalusia, the US combines the values of tradition with being an innovative institution of quality and excellence. It is a university as cutting edge and cosmopolitan as the city of Seville itself. We´re your University, we invite you to explore our website and get to know us better.

The University of Seville´s cultural heritage collection is quite extensive. The artistic elements alone consist of more than 4,000 pieces that are comparable as far as quality and quantity to some big museums. These works, which have come together over five centuries, are currently located in various University-owned buildings.

This extensive and heterogeneous artistic richness, which is closely linked to the new social and legal norms regarding heritage, has demanded that the University of Seville, with its instruments for planning, control and guardianship, make others, especially those in the University community, aware of the mentioned works and active in safeguarding them.

With the aim of sharing quality services to improve organisation in the complex process of modernisation, the University of Seville decided to show society this extensive artistic heritage, which has been cared for by the University for several centuries, in an online publication. The goal of this initiative is to promote the conservation and diffusion of University works of art for all to study and enjoy.

The University of Seville considers research to be the work of creating, developing and updating scientific, technical, artistic and cultural criteria. Research activity is carried out in the heart of the Departments, University Institutes, and Research Centres; and is supported by public and private funding. The University has a strong commitment to socio-economical development of the Seville area, and therefore carries out intense transfer of knowledge and technology to society and its economic fabric.

Campus of International Excellence, the US reference of Research, Development and Innovation (R&D). More than 400 research groups, almost 4,500 researchers and close to 7,500 yearly scientific publications with international impact. Technology transfer; knowledge management, collaboration with the economy. The spirit of enterprise and professional scope, introducing you to the business world. More than 9,000 students doing internships in more than 3,500 businesses. The University ranks third in Spain as far as number of patents generated on a national level, and is the founder of many Knowledge-Based Businesses.

Different programmes and special initiatives aimed at promoting the commencement and continuation of a degree in research exist. Collaborate in our diffusion of knowledge, participate with great research facilities and help us to be leaders in university investigation. The education at this University is truly transformative; the dedicated faculty inspire students to reach new heights, and I’ve witnessed remarkable growth in my child's confidence and knowledge.

I studied abroad here and it was a great experience. I felt like I was at my second home. All of the professors were extremely accommodating. It was a very laid back university. I give it 4 stars because it is a pretty long walk from the meter that most students have to take. I was not prepared for that but you got used to it. The best part was how cheap the books are, they print them at the school! They make everything very easy for foreign students. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Very bad teachers and bad organization. Both teachers and college would have very believed. easy races that make them impossible. If you can make your career in another university, go ahead, do not do it in Seville. Not recommended

The old beautiful building, as I understand it, is the main building of the university, founded in the 16th century. You can go inside freely, have something to see.

Very good university. Good teachers, good facilities, low prices and with large libraries.

To visit while returning from the park of Maria Luisa this university is a historical monument. Hispalense is this university of Seville. Now students are rather settled in the old tobacco factory or in one of the parts of the facilities of Expo 1992.

We entered the administrative office to ask for assistance regarding touring the campus, and the people in the office were incredibly rude and unhelpful. I have many friends whose children considered attending University of Seville, and I will recommend that they go to another city. Seville is over-crowded and many local people who interact with travelers are rude..

The auditorium of the Faculty of Economics is well equipped, projector, sound, comfortable chairs with large trays for laptops, wifi and more. The problem is that there are no outlets available, and when you have a full day it is difficult to maintain the connected devices. Another thing is the bathrooms, remote and very small, when short breaks are filled with people. They lack a bit of privacy and lighting. There are no vending machines and there is mandatory leave if you want something to snack or drink.

Iconic building in the center of Seville. It is a must visit when visiting Seville. It is full of history and beautiful sculptures. There is a free guided tour daily. Nice atmosphere as it is one of the buildings of the University of Seville.
