Child Carer

This one-day programme has been designed for people who take care of healthy children at home and in nurseries, including nannies, parents, family members who look after children, child carers in nurseries and primary school teachers.

NeoConsult's first aid certificate provides nannies with knowledge on a variety of subjects including: identifying diseases, CPR resuscitation, assisting a choking child and dealing with emergencies.

Course topics include

• HeartSaver First Aid - finding the problem, shock, bleeding, allergic reaction and use of EPIPEN, dehydration, heat exhaustion and low body temperature
• CPR training for children (making emergency calls, infant and child CPR practice)
• Environmental emergencies
• Safeguarding your home
