Eligibility / Requirements
To qualify for CIA Certification, you must meet at least one of the following criteria
- 4-year post-secondary degree or higher from an accredited college or university or
- 2 years' post-secondary education and 5 years' relevant work experience or
- 7 years' relevant work experience (if you do not have a bachelor's degree)
- Full-Time Students: Students who are in their senior (final) year may enter the CIA Certification program and sit for CIA exam parts before completing their education requirement; however, before they are certified, they must meet all supporting requirements.
