Bachelor of Business (Management)
Studying the Bachelor of Business major in Management degree (previously known as Bachelor of Commerce: Management) will give you a fundamental understanding of how to apply key managerial concepts and theories in the contemporary business environments. This course provides you with the opportunity to analyze, diagnose and execute judgments in dealing with complex situations across a broad range of technical and management functions. Also, by providing knowledge on application of new technologies and digital innovations in business, we ensure you are ready for the future of work in the digital era.
Bachelor of Business in Management helps develop skills that prepare students to deal with people and work effectively in teams. The students will get insights of various management practices in the UAE as well as best management practices of top companies. The learning-by-doing and real-world-experience gained by working on industry projects and business simulations would help to further increase the employability. The program provides opportunities to develop leadership competencies which will enable graduates to stand out in a competitive job market.
The curriculum would allow students to learn about Responsible Business Management practices in alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Students would also have the opportunity to pursue internship in companies to gain valuable practical experience, enhancing their employability.
Students also have the opportunity to graduate with a double major by choosing one more specialisation from the list of specialisations offered under Bachelor of Business. Students opting for double major are required to complete an additional 48 cp of subjects from the second specialisation.

Before joining, he worked for the School of Management at Xiamen University as an assistant professor and Hong Kong University of Science Technology (HKUST) Business School as a post-doctoral fellow.
