Jumeira University in Dubai, established in 2012 by Mr. Khalifa Bin Dhaen, is a distinguished private higher education institution dedicated to transformative education. The University was granted its initial licensure from the Ministry of Education on 1st of March 2011. The main campus building was completed in December 2011. The University opened for its first term in February 2012.

As a student in the islamic studies program at Jumeira University, I’ve been so impressed by the quality of education and the sense of community here. The university may be small, but that’s part of its charm — it feels like a family. The classes are engaging, the teachers are incredibly supportive, and the Islamic atmosphere is truly uplifting. This university offers a female study campus and a male study campus, classes do not mix the genders together, and this really makes me feel heard and understood and safe as a female
