- General History of India (Ancient Period)
- General History of India (Medieval Period)
Second Year
- Hindi: Poetry And Grammar (Or) Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada: Prose and Drama (or) French: Poetry-II, Translation And Grammar
- Tamil: History of Tamil Literature, (or) Hindi: Non Detailed Text (or) French: Poetry-II, Drama, comprehension and composition, (or) Malayalam: History of Malayalam Literature, (or) Telugu: History of Telugu Literature, (or) Kannada: History of Kannada Literature
- English Poetry and Drama
- General History of India(Modern Period)
- General Economics (Ancillary)
Third Year
- History of Tamil Nadu
- History of Greece Up to 146 B.C
- History of Europe from A.D 1500 to 1789
- History of Europe from A.D 1789 to 1945
- Modern government ( Ancillary)
Eligibility
A Pass In Pre-University/ Higher Secondary/ Second Year Foundation/ Three Year Diploma / Two Year Diploma in Teacher Education or an Equivalent Examination.
