St Mark’s is a community whose life comes from its members. St Mark’s College was founded in 1925 as the first university residential College in Adelaide. The College today combines the best of tradition with a modern and progressive outlook and is home to an active and vibrant student community of over 240 students. St Mark’s provides a complete university experience – one that is shaped by the opportunities to engage in the academic, community service, social, cultural, sporting, spiritual and intellectual life of a busy residential learning community.
Active, vibrant and diverse. That’s our community! St Mark’s College provides a supportive and stimulating environment where students pursue their optimum academic achievement. While aiming at the pursuit of excellence in specific fields of study at university, the College also promotes amongst its members a love of learning, and a critical approach to issues.
Colleges cater to the uniqueness of individuals –we recognise that each student living in our community is an individual and our relationship with students is transformational, not transactional. By providing an atmosphere in which students are accepted as mature and self-responsible, St Mark’s aims to make a student’s stay at College a fun, enjoyable, intellectual, and maturing experience. Amongst the heritage buildings and stunning grounds, St Mark’s College offers you a range of first-class facilities to ensure that you have access to everything you need to succeed at university.
We place importance on being a welcoming, diverse and inclusive community that:

Thank you once again for doing your part to keep Edarabia the most trusted education source.
St Mark's has made me the strong woman I am today. They have pushed me to take pride in my work and myself and have helped me in the precious few years of transitioning from my teen years to adulthood. I am so proud of every collegian speaking their personal truths to help the college get through this wash of uninformed, one-sided, hit piece stories and get to the root of any real issues and progress towards reconciliation with the community who we as a college hold dear to our hearts.
